«Walrus Gathering»
In the Spanish photo competition MontPhoto Contest 2022 I won the animal category and was awarded the Overall Winner!
The winning image was a drone photo of walruses on the beach I took on my last trip to Svalbard i 2018. Vigdis and I went to the price ceremony in Lloret de Mar in Spain, then several days in Barcelona.
While my winning photo was being displayed on the big screen in the Teater de Lloret, the great Japanese pianist Yoko Suzuki was playing. What an experience!

My winning image was featured in both the renowned magazines National Geographic and Traveler.
